ABOUT

St. Kilda wines are produced by De Bortoli Wines, a third generation family wine company, based in Bilbul in the Riverina region of New South Wales. De Bortoli Wines is one of the largest privately owned companies in Australia. St. Kilda wines are produced from fruit sourced from South Eastern Australia, officially classified as a viticultural 'super zone', a area measuring 1,250 miles from the Pacific coast in Queensland to the Indian Ocean in South Australia. St. Kilda wines are youthful, fruit driven, balanced and affordable.

The grapes were fermented with American and French oak staves over a two week period.

TASTING NOTES

Pale straw in color, the wine offers fresh stone fruit flavors and aromas with hints of nutty oak.

FOOD PAIRING

Pair with light, dry white wines usually shouldn't be too heavy or overly spiced: chicken, fish, turkey, some veal dishes, mushrooms and pasta with light cream-based sauces would be good. Cooking method also matters. Think poaching, grilling or sauteing.
