ABOUT

Riff (the German word for reef) was created by one of northern Italy’s most famous wine producers, Alois Lageder. The Riff project builds on long-term partnerships with selected grape growers in Italy’s northeastern Tre Venezie region, which has long been known as one of Italy’s prime sources for elegant and refined white wines. The grapes for the Riff wines are grown in the northeastern Tre Venezie region, and more specifically in vineyards that are located in the valleys and on the slopes of the Dolomites, a part of the Italian Alps, which influence the climate and bless the area with prized alluvial soils.

TASTING NOTES

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation on the fine lees for up to four months to give the wine greater textural intensity and depth. This wine boasts a brilliant straw-yellow color with a green tint. Pronounced aromas of orchard fruit lead into a clean, elegant, light to medium-bodied palate with a fresh, mouth-watering & dry finish.

FOOD PAIRING

Just the ticket for a summertime aperitif or an ideal keep-it-coming accompaniment to all kinds of food.
