Sagamore 7 Year Old "R/Bourbon" Single Barrel Rye Whiskey

The long-awaited follow-up to R/Bourbon's Sagamore 6yr Rye from 2021, this release is a full year older and packed with flavor.

One of two VERY FIRST marked single barrels of 7-year rye from Sagamore Spirits in the country! This barrel (#93) turned 7 years old on December 22, 2021, and was bottled the same day.

This is a single barrel of 7-year-old Maryland-style rye, made with a different blend than the standard Sagamore core lineup (80/20 vs the signature blend's 70/30). 80% is the high rye at 95 and the 20% is the low rye at 52. 110 Proof. 

The maple is still here in droves, it's spicy, packed with orange peel, honey, brown sugar, and toffee. Cracked peppercorns. Once again coming up short on the herbal, dilly character of other ryes, instead its all pure spice and dessert. Long, rich finish, light on ethanol, heavy on clove and honey
