ABOUT

This is mezcal as storytelling—layered, tradition-rich, and unapologetically expressive. Crafted by Maestro Isidro Damián in Sola de Vega, it’s roasted slowly in earthen pit ovens, milled carefully, and distilled in clay pots to preserve every shade of flavor. In the glass, it presents with velvet presence: creamy cooked agave, dark chocolate, tobacco, and damp earth unfold before a background of smoke. It’s powerful yet refined—ancient technique and unfiltered terroir, bottled.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Creamy roasted agave meets espresso, campfire coals, and old leather, all wrapped in a whisper of smoke.

Palate: Silky, luxurious texture yields robust layers of dark chocolate, pine resin, tobacco, and wet clay—all illuminated by subtle citrus brightness from the agave.

Finish: Rich and drying, with a tobacco-forward end that lingers like a fading ember.

FOOD PAIRING

Match it with rich, savory bites—think mole-drizzled short rib or dark chocolate with a pinch of sea salt. For something unexpected, char-grilled corn brushed with ancho-chile butter will echo the smoky-mineral profile beautifully.
