Millstone Dutch 100 Rye Whiskey

Zuidam is a family distillery located in the Netherlands that was established in the 1970s. They produce many spirits, including rum, genever, liqueurs, and whisky. What is handy with the Zuidam 100 Rye bottling is everything relates to the number “100”, which makes it easy to remember the particulars about the bottling. It is 100% Rye, 100% American oak, 100% handmade, and 100 months old. 

• Grain: 51% un-malted rye and 49% malted rye
• Age: Minimum is 100 months old.
• Barrel: New American oak.
• ABV: 50%

The new spirit is aged for a minimum of 100 months in new American oak barrels. 
The nose has rich notes of citrus fruit and spices with delicate tones of honey combined with vanilla and oak.
The taste is rich and fruity, with honey sweetness, delicate spicy notes, and a long peppery vanilla and oak finish.
