The foreign components are matured in their country of origin for 3–5 years, then shipped to the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan, for an additional 1–3 years of maturation and final blending. This ensures the unique Japanese terroir has a crucial, final influence. Bottled without coloring and non-chill-filtered at 46.5% ABV, this whisky maintains its purity and textural integrity.
