Inspired by phenomenological thinking, folks behind Compass Box will not provide the typical recipe information including component whiskies or any description of the aromas and flavors of the whisky on the packaging and launch materials. Instead, in celebration of the subjectivity of whisky tasting, thy are inviting consumers to first experience the whisky for themselves without preconception.

Company's owned brand channels – e-newsletter, website and social media – and the launch press release will announce that they are temporarily withholding the recipe information to encourage people to draw their own conclusions, but they will share it in later in the year (date TBC) once people around the world have had the chance to try the whisky.
