Arette Artesanal Suave Single Barrel Anejo Tequila PLDC

Regular price $110

ABOUT

Velvety and refined, this Single Barrel Añejo from Arette’s Artesanal Suave line reveals the artistry of five Orendain generations. Crafted solely from estate‑grown Blue Weber agave in the volcanic lowlands near Tequila, Jalisco, every bottle reflects meticulous tradition—steam‑roasting, narrow heart cut, concrete vat fermentation, and double pot distillation. Aged for about 20 months in used American bourbon barrels, this single‑barrel release offers exceptional balance: caramel warmth, soft baking spice, and lingering oak glow without overpowering the agave. Elegant yet substantive, it’s a tequila that feels personal—every sip tells a story.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Warm vanilla powder, light caramel, lemon peel, fresh baked bread, and gentle botanical earthiness from mineral‑rich fermentation.

Palate: Smooth and full, it delivers roasted agave, toasted almonds and walnuts, caramel, vanilla bean, black pepper, and cinnamon nuance.

Finish: A long, clean fade of oak spice, subtle herbaceous notes, citrus brightness, and a final peppery kiss.

FOOD PAIRING

Savor dark chocolate desserts like chocolate tart or fudge, as spices and nuts in the tequila echo the richness.

Pair with grilled pork belly or charred lamb chops, letting the savory caramel and spice interplay shine.

Aged Manchego or Gouda cheeses highlight the nutty oak and creamy vanilla notes seamlessly.
