The estate has a history of wine production that dates to 1460. Marc Pages and his family purchased the 46 hectares of vineyards in the commune of Jau Dignac and Loirac, Medoc in 1983. The vines are an average age of 20 years and are planted on the gravel soils of the Garonne River. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and concrete and aged 12 months in French Barrique. 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petite Verdot.
Medium-bodied, plum, dark berries, hints of vanilla.
