The Amontillado barrels give it a rich burnt orange color. The nose starts off with dusty, gentle cinnamon hints and then distinctive lemon zest. This moves into earthy figs and dates before nutty, creamy brazil nuts come to the fore. This complex nose then changes with elements of carbolic soap before finally finishing with a lovely lingering salted licorice note.
