Distillery has been experimenting with ‘resting’ their Glorious Gin in oak barrels since 2011. Over that time they have produced 4 unique batches, each with a different oak treatment.
Distillery starts with their Glorious Gin and age it a different way for each release. This time it is aged in 53-gallon new char American oak for just over one year. It mellows the herbal botanicals letting the citrus and ginger shine through. The barrel also adds a bit of spicy vanilla and oak character suggestive of a whiskey with bitters.
