Angel's Envy "Cellar Collection Release No. 1" Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks

Their first new release since 2013, this limited run of Angel's Envy was finished in Oloroso sherry barrels. The sherry barrel finish lengthens the oxidation process and adds a level of flavor that is unlike anything else the brand has released. Before the finishing process, the spirit began as 4-9-year-old bourbon and after the mingling in the sherry casks was bottled at 100 proof. 3,600 bottles are being released this month in Kentucky only.

Appearance: Deep hues of copper and amber
Nose: Pleasantly sweet with noticeable hints of raisin and hazelnut
Palate: Oak forward with a distinct dryness from the sherry, as well as heavy vanilla and caramel
Finish: Shifts from sweetness to a pleasant, lingering floral finish
